Subject: Speaking of water runoff...
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Goodmorning All, Speaking of all this water... As per the recommendations of this list, I sealed, very well, with clear silicone, between my wind shield and the rubber window seal. I put a small screw driver in between the seal and the glass creating a little void to stick the tube nozzle for the silicone in and ran the whole perimeter of the bottom half of the wind shield. I started about 18 inches up the side and went right across the bottom to 18 inches up the other side. This put a wonderful bead of silicone there. I smoothed it out with a wet finger and I was very pleased with the result. Then... it rained a few days later. I still have a damp rug under the left drivers foot! Where could it still possibly be coming from? The only other thing is the antenna. I don't have the one that extends down through the second supporting hole with the rubber seal there. But this hole is facing down... Anyone have a suggestion or two? I got to solve this one because I just had the Van painted. Thank you for your time.

Rich and Annemarie 85 GL "Buba"
