Subject: O2 Sensor Disconnected=better mpg???
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I've been struggling with poor fuel mileage for a while now. I have replaced many parts to no avail (temp II, O2 sensor, wires, plugs, air filter, fuel pressure reg., AFM, ECU.....). I recently disconnected the O2 sensor and the van has been running great....the mpg is much better as well. I did notice at times, with the O2 sensor connected, that when hitting large bump or rough roads that the van would hesitate. I'm thinking I may have a problem with the green wire that connects the O2 sensor to the ECU??? Could it be shorting out??? Is this an easy fix for someone that really doesn't know what to do (ie. me)??????

thanks, Chad G 85GL's
