Why is it that when my bus (and wife's car, and truck) are running awesome all of my friend's rigs bit the bullet? Last week is was my good friend's jetta, and last night it was another good friends syncro...

86 (87?) syncro stuck in 3rd. That is exactly as much as i know. What could it be?

And second, how much is a syncro worth with a bad tranny? (If that is what the problem is) Here is my idea. I want a syncro. I can maybe pick it up from my friend for a cheap (1K ?) then just hang on to it until i have the available $ for a tiico and a tranny. I will fund this endevour by -gasp- selling my 84 bus.

thanks -Matthew
