Subject: Head gasket leak for rookie
Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

BenT can summon the diabolical wrath of the Vanagods!

I purchased my first Vanagon, with no leaks almost a month ago. Saturday afternoon, I noticed a small water drip. This morning, there was a small puddle on the driveway. I removed the shield from the bottom of the head, and the gasket is leaking.

I immediately hit the archives, and am now reading that this is the time for them to start dripping. ? The temperature dropped significantly this weekend for the first time since I bought it.

Oh, well. Here we go...
