I understand that snow does not = off road, but my '85 with its taller-than-average suspension does well in the dirt. I get to sample, ugh, make that drown in snow in Minnesota this winter and I feel fairly confident. My worry would be strong cross winds as they could push me off a slick road. I recently purchased an '85 full camper. If I put on good snow tires, what are my chances of using this vehicle as a base for skiing and snowshoeing? Will it handle OK, or should I stay out of the mountains until spring? |
