Raimund, << I hope to get this system ready for half the price of the porsche system, using vented discs and calipers on the front from the Audi 100/A6 C4(1992-1997).>> How is this different for the South African Big Brake kit? Are you using single piston calipers? Are the pistons any bigger than the SA kit? How about the rotors? How big are they? Are you performing this modification on a 2wd or a Syncro? If on a 2wd, how are you handling the hub situation? The SA kit uses a T3 specific hub. << On the back I will use ´02 A4-discs and Golf3 calipers >> Well, since I am working on this myself, I'm curious how others are are handling the problems I have run into. Does the A4 rotor (disc) require the rear hubs to be cut smaller? I would guess that this is a thin not vented rotor. OK, one last question. How are you adjusting front to rear brake bias? Part numbers would be helpful, if you don't mind. Many thanks, Ben T |
