You know that vanagon mechnic shop in Redwood City told me that they can do a head gasket job for 800 dollars (they were saying how other people charge more... I don't really know myself...). (then again I've always kept it in the back of my mind that Precision German Motors has a good price for complete rebuilds with a 30K or 60K warranty depending on whether you went with new pistons.... just general worry, like to think I'm prepared for the worst...). I'm thinking I should start at an asking price of 6,000. I've gotten some p-mail on the topic. Anymore inputers? </P>
