The other day I made a huge mistake. I injured my 85 westy. Upon pulling up to a gas pump a little too fast I scraped the sliding door and right rear fender on the concrete poles that are in front of all gas pumps (for protection???). Anyway I am depressed and in need of some advice... How should I go about preventing rust from occurring? (I am not a body man by any means) Should I sand it down and primer it? does the Vw dealer carry touch up paint? what can I do to keep the rust from speading while I save up money to fix it properly? thanks in advance --daniel
