I've used synthetic for the past four years in my '84's tranny. I thought it important in Minnesota as the Van is started @ -0º temperatures for almost 6 months!

There is only one oil to use, it's called REDLINE MLT. It is simply the best for the gears, bearings and syncros. In my neck of the woods a quart will cost $7.50, and I think it holds 3.2 quarts? That means you buy four...

Nothing but good luck, as I know the "double clutch shuffle" myself.
