VW South Africa manufactures various models. The Type 25, or Type 2 T3 Transporter ("Vanagon" in USA), is still made there. The Caravelle version is the top-of-the-line one, with rectangular headlights. The Microbus version has dual round lights; the inner pair is smaller, much like a Golf GTi, and looks really aggressive; this grill fits all round-light T3s. The lower grill is a full-width 1-piece item without any foglights, and looks much better than the stock German Hitler-mustache unit!

Bays were the Type 2 T2 (or Series 2), 1967-1989 and still in production in Mexico & Brasil; these are basically much-modified T1s (Splits), with redesigned cab and curved windshield; early models retained the Split's rear shape and lights; later versions changes this to a more squared-off rear.
