what type of gasket are you using? You can get what looks like the right gasket for the exhaust pipe that is actually for a carb... same size same shape, but the carb gasket is made out of paper-like material, where and exhaust gasket is made out of two piece of stamped metal with some mystery material between them. I made the mistake once of using the wrong gasket material. -good luck -Matthew
