Subject: Trilogy of the trip to libby montana part 1
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Traveling from the sf bay area to Libby Montana in late October is a trip of many fall colors and few snowy passes. Only vanagon problem was a flat in Spokane, Washington on a sunday. Only one place in town that could fix a flat on a sunday. Chains were not needed nor a flu cap for the propane fridge vent as the fridge preformed flawlessly and even froze the cat food into a Popsicle. The cat was not pleases eating kitty Popsicles in the cool Montana nights. Lots of camping place around libby as well as deer, eagles, moose and elk. I went hunting second day of deer season with my niece. She did the hunting, I did the watching. It was snowing in the higher elevation that day and as we came down from the snow we spotted the pair. Two shots and I saw the head exploded on the buck. I felt bad about the event and looked over at the shooter who was looking like charlie manson. My niece and her first buck. Changed my mind about the event however after eating last years hunt. If you go to libby make sure you stop at the libby damn. The vistor's center gives a good deal of information about the whole damn system for us and Canada. Thank you Canada for the spare kilowatts. gary and sarabeth
