Hey Wetwestians, I am trying to make room for a ghia in the collection, so a bus has to go. Here's the lowdown: Bus is located in Vancouver WA (Portland WA, really). 1ts a 1973 with less than 200,000 original miles. Straight body, with green and blue paint (think sweet pickles). The previous owner put in a westy interior, so it has a sink, a icebox, a closet, and a z-bed. the bed and cushions were all recovered with nice marine black vinyl. it does not have a poptop, so it only sleeps 2 people (for now...). the headliner, glass, electrical, brake system and all that are in great shape. it has a front mounted spare. new fuel pump. dual carb 1800 with decent compression. heads, cyl, pistons have less than 10k miles. it has new fuel lines, i have an extra set of carbs (34's) that could go with it. it is emissions exempt in WA, since it is over 25 years old. It has a nearly new muffler. THERE IS NO RUST ON THIS BUS! (even in the usual spots) overall, it is a really straight, clean type 2. i've had it since march. it runs really well, but drives a little underpowered, which i am going to address asap. But, i'd be willing to let it go for 1300 obo right now, since i have 3 busses at this point. i would be willing to consider a trade for a project ghia. please forward this email on to anybody who might be interested. Call Jeremy at 360-992-1879 for a test drive. THANKS!
