Hi Mike

I'm really pleased to hear from you. I'd thought perhaps you weren't going to answer (my experience with most people who have knowledge I sorely need), or more likely had dropped off the list... glad I was wrong! Yes, computers can be a majot pain... I've been having trouble with my ISP and also Eudora has been giving me grief in the last couple of weeks.

I'll give Randy a try... hope he replies! I recently tried to get info from another similar ad's owner, with no reply. Hpe it wasn't this same guy...

So far I have the Caravelle, a KEP flywheel/adaptor plate kit, an SVX engine and my G50 trans arrived a couple of weeks or so ago, with starter, clutch, CVs, shifter, Konis and a steel T3 engine lid to replace my flammable plastic highrise (modified to clear Holden V6) lid.

I made the mistake some time ago of giving in to temptation (well, Ben Tan reckons I'm an impulsive buyer) and buying Electric-Life electric window kit, remote central locking, remote start/alarm/window-closer and Ben Tan's 16" Mercedes CLK alloy wheels & tires. Bought a Hella Raintronic automatic wiper system on special from Canada, and brought in a South African grill set with inner lights. Grabbed a Golf CL instrument panel with 7000rpm tacho and 220kmh speedo and a žus Depot Vanagon cluster. All this money could have been spent on the engine/trans conversion, and it might have been close to running by now...
