I was told by the local VW dealer it was only for Digifant FI, but some have used it for Digijet as well. Personally, I would save the harness money and save up for a new or rebuilt AFM. This is what I did. If you have the true Vanagon syndrome, it should immediately clear after shutting off the engine and restarting.
