On syncros, it requires 2 different seals. 025 405 248A and 025 105 249A are used together to make a sand, dirt, oil, and water seal. Of course the syncro ones are expensive! Dealer list is $100.90 for the pair. I think I need a mask to sell those. Thank the lord that I don't set those prices! ----------------------------- A few years back I rebuilt a syncro engine and replaced every seal possible except the syncro specific crank seals. I was in a hurry and did not want to wait for the dealer to order them, and the cost seemed high. Well guess which seal leaked in the newly rebuilt engine?
