I suspect we all need to chill out over this.
1.) This is not about free speech. As has been discussed many times before
you got here, this is not a public forum, it's private. It runs at the will
and desires of some guy in Maryland. Thank you very much Tom. We all pretty
much accept it. And so should you.
2.) Phaedra is a very strong willful person. Even if I don't agree with her,
I like the way she puts things. She has brought immense amounts of diverse,
interesting, and yes, sometimes controversial posts to our group. She has
regaled us with tales of multi-month camping trips on the beaches of Mexico,
hair raising stories of third world country truck drivers, a strong sense of
what it takes to maintain oneself under less than ideal conditions for long
stretches of time. I like her and I suspect most people here do too.
3.) For a price ($49.95), I can send you "How to Use Your Mail Reader" by D.
Seuss. It will captivate you and keep you from making major paus faux in the
future.
4.) I too have gotten caught up in what seemed at the time, important issues
on this list. And was promptly told to shut it down. In retrospect, that's
the best way to be if you are going to survive on this list. Those that
couldn't (like Dr. Tim) won't last no matter how good the imput they could
provide would be.
Take care, have a great weekend.
