I was debugging my cruise control last night using the Bentley manual. When it came time to check the resistance of the inductive speed sensor (located on the back of the speedometer) the manual called for 90 to 110 ohms. My DMM showed 1.1K. This is 10 times larger than the manual calls for. Since 10 is nice round number I was wondering if the manual might have a typo and the actual reading should be 900 - 1100 ohms. Anyone out there measure this before and what was your reading? Noel - 88 GL |
