Subject: Help Needed! Stuck in Chicago
Comments: cc: Melissa Mourkas <westywoman@mac.com>
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I am writing this email on behalf of my sister, Melissa Mourkas, who is in the midst of a trip from Massachusetts to California. The transmission in her 81 Westy finally gave up for good in rural Indiana, and from Melissa's description on the phone, it sounds terminal.

Melissa has had her Westy towed to our father's home in Hinsdale, Illinois, just west of Chicago. She explored some options today but is looking for list member's comments on transmission sources and Vanagon friendly repair shops in or near to the western suburbs of Chicago.

Melissa is in "no mail" list mode presently so communications should be directed to:

Melissa Mourkas <westywoman@mac.com>

Thanks for any assistance you can offer my sister,

Tony
