Subject: steering wheel remove-falling off a log thanks
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Thanks to all who offered advice on steering wheel removal. Hands down the easiest thing I've had to do on the bus.

Loosens the nut and the wheel about fell off.

Thanks for saving me the anguish of having my mom send my steering wheel puller from her basement--and the 10 phone calls: "There are so many choices; First class, priority mail, then there's UPS and FedEx? Anyway I found just the right size box to mail you the wheel pusher thing. It was the box that the new remote came in for the TV we got rid of. The remote is brand new. I can't get it to work. But I'm going to save it in the box that ....."

My mom's great. I apprecate the help and all. But when it comes to the Vanagon the list is always much less frustrating.

I installed the SA leather wheel. I'll give a full report after I see how I like. It looks great--makes the interior look like it needs an upgrade--uh oh.

Thanks Jeff 83.5 Westy LA,CA

I love my mom. But you know it can be frustrating
