I was told by the local VW dealer it was only for Digifant FI, but some have used it for Digijet as well. Personally, I would save the harness money and save up for a new or rebuilt AFM. This is what I did. If you have the true Vanagon syndrome, it should immediately clear after shutting off the engine and restarting. Check out your fuel system first and then start looking at temp sensors, grounds, etc.
