If overflow tank empty, then when coolant contracts, air gets into system. Air in system = blinking red light. Probably need to drain and refill cooling system. See archives or Bentley for instructions.

Hi all gurus, I have this '85 van and the coolant light started to blink. I never use the car really. The overflow tank is empty, but the expansion tank is full. It happened after I had the A/C guy out here. I think there is no connection. What is the remedy or the solution to this? Anyone? Zoltan
