I remember the mechanic for my first Vdub, (a modified '77 scirocco), had 10 sticks of dynamite tied together with a long fuse sitting on his counter. The sign next to it read, "Audi 100 repair kit". I always noticed from then on the inordinate amount of 100's that sat abandon or up on blocks in peoples yards. It gave me a good laugh anyway.
