I just talked with a guy selling an 85 westy. It looks in great shape... it is located around Moscow Idaho/ Pullman Washington. The guy is really nice; I'll give the rig a run-through if anyone so desires. I have 3 photos he sent me- email me if you want them. He is asking $7500....

I'd snatch it up if it was a syncro...

Matthew, I bought the car from a dealer in Everette in October of '99 and they had worked on the cylinder heads. Since then I have replaced the CV boots, replaced the clutch, added a second battery, replaced ignition wires and switch, distributor, maintained the brackes, regular oil changes and any regular service. The van does have power steering and air conditioning. The body is in great shape, you will be hard pressed to find any rust. The poptop works and the canvas does not have any tears (the mosquito mesh does). The van sleeps four and has the full camper package with everything working.

Attached are a couple pictures. You may recognize the van, as I drive through Moscow everyday.

If you have any other questions or would like to see it in person, give me a call at 509-335-1847 (weekday) or 509-710-5505 (other). joe
