Hi Joel,

If your table is anything like the one in my 85 Westy GL, look for a plastic knob with a hex head bolt inside. If you pull the knob so the hex head is gripped by it, you should be able to then turn it counter clockwise to loosen the bolt and unlock the table from it's present position. After positioning the table to however you want it, you can then tighten the bolt so it will no longer swivel and will stay in place. Hope this helps, but my table may be quite different than yours.
