I know a guy at work that put 196,000 miles on the original 2.1WBX in his Syncro before paying the dealer to install a new motor. I can't seem to convince him to join the list. His Syncro was special ordered by Time magazine for a photo shoot in Mexico. After waiting for over a month for the magazine to pick up the van, the dealer gave in and sold the van to him. He had been trying to buy it from their lot since it arrived there. It's a pristine white Syncro Westfalia.
