Hello list-

Below is a list of parts for sale--mostly stuff reclaimed from a blown engine from an 84 westy. Everything is--to the best of my knowledge--in working order and in condition expected of parts from an engine with 180,000+ miles unless otherwise noted. Pmail me at scbrug@wm.edu if you have questions and/or offers.

Seth Bruggeman

1. full set of lifters

2. homemade digitool built to specs of Darrel Boehler (I think--my apologies if I'm thinking about someone else and/or have misspelled the name)--the ecu for which i built this blew not long after, perhaps because of my own mistake installing the digitool harness (though I don't think this was the problem)...anyway, both the tool and the ecu are available

3. alternator bracket (alt to case) and adjustor bracket (about 1" x 9" metal strip that bolts to the case and slides along adjusting bolt on alt)--mounting hardware not included

4. cam shaft w/ gear--no visible signs of excessive wear on journals or lobes..

5. throttle body--this is the two-switch variety; although I can't verify it, I think this body was giving me poor gas mileage (i.e. i think there is a crack in the body that's hidden or very small) because when i swapped it with another, my mileage improved dramatically. This said, I also changed out wiring harnesses at the same time, so who knows??? Anyway, this is the complete body with mounting screws, throttle linkage, idle screw arm, and both switches (both relatively new). I do not have the spring that puts tension on the throttle linkage and idle screw arms or the nut and washer that hold all three in place.

6. half of an a/c compressor backet--the larger half that bolts to the case--missing one mounting bolt

7. bottom portion of engine mount/cradle--this is the lower middle section that bolts to the case, it does not include the arms that extend to the sides of the engine compartment...has full set of engine mounts, though all four with some wear

8. distributor shaft

9. half of a power steering bracket with mounting hardware (the half that bolts to the case--is there another half???--never actually had power steering....)

10. metal portion of oil filler neck

11. metal coolant pipes: a. pipe from t-stat housing to right head b. pipe from water pump to right water jacket

12. dipstick tube and slightly bent dipstick
