Max, and all: I second that emotion! Never have I gone to a VW/Audi mechanic if I could do the work myself, but going to Steve is even better! Absolute attention to detail, won't do a half-assed job, and integrity is 100%. He has VW and Audi factory training, any and all tools to do the job right, and is a wonderful person on top of all this. Currently he is working on my Scirocco 16V, and with the mechanical situation I am having with it, I'd have been screwed anywhere else. But I know it is in good hands with Steve. I hope it's not against the list rules... Steve with Karmakanix fixed my '84 westy. He's very knowledgeable and reasonable, and will tell you all you need to know about your vehicle. He seems to be 100% honest and reliable. He charged one hour for a two and a half hour work hope it helps someone. 1453 4th st @ Cedar, Berkeley. 510 558 0111 max '84 westy |
