For folks (like me) who: A> don't know how it all works inside an automobile, and B> want to know engine/electrical/etc. component names, I've attached the best Internet links I've found. Some have animations of things like clutches engaging, camshafts opening valves, etc., which really helps understanding what's going on, and what is connected to what. For further in-depth info on how the various systems work, or if you'd just rather read a book, the clearest one I've found *isn't* "How to Keep your VW Alive" nor the Bentley manual (although both are necessary for your library), but actually a book published by Haynes called "Motorcycle Basics Manual" published in 1991, ISBN 1-85010-083-7. http://autorepair.about.com/mlibrary.htm http://www.technovision.tmfweb.nl/index.htm Training courses (see lower section of 10) http://www.napaechlin.com/tp.htm Automotive 101 http://www.autoshop-online.com/auto101.html
