While we're on the subject of security--I'd like to recommend in *indespensible piece of gear that contributes a lot to one's safety sleeping while camped: The "Storm Alert Whistle" is said to be the worlds loudest, &, with dual chambers, can be heard over wind or even *under water. Extremely durable plastic construction with lanyard ring. This whistle is *so loud, there is danger of damage to ear drums with repeated use--but what petty thief would stick around after a short blast from this whistle? I carry mine in the what-not tray between the front seats & at nite it hangs from it's lanyard near the head of the upper berth. It's a wonderful, durable, dependable, & low tec piece of security gear! Cheap @ $5.99. Get bright orange--it's much easier to locate quickly, especially in the dark....
