Robert, I have looked at all their available studs in person and spent a considerable amount of time with owner/operator Fred Goeske. The studs they offer are domestically manufactured and have huge splined bases as compared to what is in the Vanagons and Syncros. You will need to drill out your hubs to use their studs. It would be much cheaper to buy Weltmeister studs (for Porsche) rather than undergoing that operation. The Porsche studs have the correct splined (knurled)section. Besides, they do not provide machine work on steel hubs, only aluminum and cast iron. Their adapters are first rate but quite expensive. Still cheaper than H & R. H & R's advantage is you can get their adapter/spacers in bolt through or stud through. BenT |
