Subject: stuff left for sale

Hello list-
Here is what I have left for sale--mostly stuff reclaimed from a blown
engine from an 84 westy. Everything is--to the best of my knowledge--in
working order and in condition expected of parts from an engine with
180,000+ miles unless otherwise noted. Pmail me at scbrug@wm.edu if you
have questions and/or offers.
Seth Bruggeman
1. full set of lifters
2. cam shaft w/ gear--no visible signs of excessive wear on journals on
lobes..
3. throttle body--this is the two-switch variety; although I can't verify
it, I think this body was giving me poor gas mileage (i.e. i think there is
a crack in the body that's hidden or very small) because when i swapped it
with another, my mileage improved dramatically. This said, I also changed
out wiring harnesses at the same time, so who knows??? Anyway, this is the
complete body with mounting screws, throttle linkage, idle screw arm, and
both switches (both relatively new). I do not have the spring that puts
tension on the throttle linkage and idle screw arms or the nut and washer
that hold all three in place.
4. half of an a/c compressor backet--the larger half that bolts to the
case--missing one mounting bolt
5. distributor shaft
6. power steering bracket with mounting hardware
7. metal coolant pipes:
a. pipe from t-stat housing to right head
b. pipe from water pump to right water jacket
8. oil/case breather box/tube--the cylindrical black
thing that bolts on top of case...
9. complete t-stat housing with relatively new t-stat,
does not include coolant temp sensor
10. water pump with pulley
11. four piston rods; only one with bolts connecting two
halves of rod
12. complete a/c bracket--both halves with all mounting
hardware (this is not the same as the partial bracket
above--i think this must be off an 85 engine--the same thing as far as i
know)
13. complete manifold assembly including cast manifolds,
breather box, the four woven sleeves connecting these,
and the cross-over coolant pipe that bolts on
above--missing one manifold to head bolt and the nuts
for mounting the cross-over pipe...all metal parts
freshly painted in gloss black and the woven sleeves are
relatively new; was going to use this assembly on a new
engine project, but gave up the project before it even
started...
14. rubber coolant hoses for engine compartment--the big
set that wraps around back of engine between both
heads--includes plastic junction and coolant bleeding
valve (support tabs broken off of junction and coolant hose nipple on valve
broken off—i.e. don’t buy these just for the union piece)
15. lower engine tin--both left and right pushrod cover
sheet metal pieces; recently painted gloss black, but
now covered with grease and grime...will clean up
fine...
16. coolant expansion tank (left tank) with coolant
sensor and h-fitting--this is off an 85 but will fit
others..needs cleaned and needs new coolant line coming
off cap
17. exhaust pipes--the front and back pipes that bolt
onto the heads--both in very good condition with less
than expected rust
