Jay,

I measured the size of the battery boxes under the driver and passenger side seats this morning before work. The depth of the two (the limiting factor as Jay points out) is nearly identical when measured with a steel tape measure (not a very accurate measurement on my part). The group 41 battery in the primary location under the passenger seat is a very tight fit, height-wise, so I would expect the fit in aux. location to also be tight. Jay, are you saying that you could not physically fit a size 41 in the aux. location or that your measurements indicated a clearance problem?

Thanks, Scott '85 Westy "Pearl" Santa Barbara, CA
