Doesn't that sort of work the same way that socks disappear in washing machines and dryers? I find myself short of screws most times but I keep track of the one of a kind starter bolts, tranny bolts, engine mount bolts, oil screen drain bolt and alternator pivot bolts. However after wrecking out a few 80-83 Vanagons I can normally come up with the needed fasteners except the ones I always buy new like exhaust nuts, crossover pipe nuts, rod nuts and head bolt nuts/washers. What would you recommend that I build from my surplus stock? I've got all the running gear for the rear, the motor, sheet metal, injector system, alternator, tranny, drive axles but I'm short on a body that deserves them.
