I have come across a good deal on a vr6 engine and wiring harness. Has anyone got into on putting on into a Vanagon? I realize KEP can make adapter plates to do this. But... will it fit easily? How much power is the stock tranny good for? I can weld, I can wire up the FI. No problems there. Just how well will it fit?

The reason for doing this, is I tow my race car behind the van all the time. The 1.6TD just won't go more than 70 mph while towing. That is flat out. It will barely cruise at 65.

So any help or insight would be appreciated.

Jason
