I use a grey SOCK.  This is preventive, but I put the sock
over the arm rest up to the heel, and let the 'foot' hang
down.  I can then use the 'foot' part to wipe my hands on
from fruit, or sun-block, or whatever, while keeping the
human grease from my forearms off of my van's arm-
rests.  malcolm
