I'll bet it is a '73 walkthrough panel Transporter. Believe it or not, I have the exact same model bus.

I've watched closely when they show interior shots and I could see how they rigged up a front bench seat so 3 could ride up front.

My '73 panel was shipped from Germany and has an upright 1600 dual port which was standard in Germany on all Transporters including the aircooled Vanagon models.

I'm considering selling mine. You could rig it up to look exactly like the Lone Gunman Bus.
