The first thing to check is the switch itself; I hadn't used mine for a few months and then when it got cold I tried it and no fan. I jiggled the switch around for a bit and it fired up again.

Thanks to all who so generously offered advice for my posting regarding my front heater blower problems. The consensus seems to be $600 or a weekend I don't have in the garage. Just when I decide to live w/out the front blower, my rear heater goes out also. It was working fine and then just stopped all of a sudden. Any ideas as to where to start. The fuse is good. I appreciate any feedback as I am new to the Vanagon. Already I sense a love hate relationship in the making. However, being out w my 3 boys camping in our '90 Multivan, on the eastern shore of MD during the meteor shower, has already endeared me this vehicle in a serious way.

Thanks to all,

Kevin
