Hi all --

I wrote a few weeks ago and nobody answered so I'm trying again.
I've got an 87 vanagon GL (wolfsberg).  I've got a rebuilt alternator
from bus depot - should be their part # AL33XOR.  The nut from my
old factory alternator - the one that holds the pulley assembly on -
does not fit this new alternator.  I've tried several auto parts places
in town and can't find the right size and right threading.  I've found
several "very close" that I could probably strong arm on, but would
have a heck of a time to ever get off again.  Jerry at Bus Depot
responded promptly, but didn't know the right size either.

I figured I can't be the only person on this list that has purchased
this alternator from them - surely somebody else out there had to
go nut hunting too?  Even a selection of possibilities would be
helpful (it's not like they cost a lot - I'll buy a dozen if there's a good
chance 1 of them is right).  PLEASE HELP SOMEBODY!!
