I haven't done any boring whatsoever yet. I just assumed one had to go all the way through at a diameter of 2 5/8".

I also assumed the rear ones worked without any spacers or coring at all just longer studs.

Someone suggested using generic spacers with oval shaped holes to fit over the studs/lugs. Wouldn't this compromise the wheel balancing?
