one old german car i had long ago had a series of loops of the washer fluid tubing around a heater/coolant hose. not sure what effect it had in the summer time .. possibly none, since you didn't use the heater in summer ... but it slightly warmed up the fluid before it hit the windshield in the winter. i do NOT think it would be a good idea to have hot fluid sprayed onto a cold windshield. ;)

wonder if we could adapt something like that on the buses?? we've got some heater hoses up in the front to work with. :)
