What is a > Bently? It entirely depends on your mechanical skills and other factors. It is a repair manual published by Robert Bently, they have a wide variety of manuals for various vehicles. My Bently was a door stop until I sold it. ($65.00) Other list members view it more like a Volkswagen Bible. It certainly wouldn't hurt you to buy the Bently Manual that covers your year model of VW Van, it does have good information (often incomplete). You'll find that many things arent covered but overall its better than a Hayes Manual ($17.00). If you're new to your vehicle it will at least help you identify the parts by name and understand their functions on your vehicle. You'll be able to decode the information posted to the list and understand what is being discussed.
