i've been told that the ekta is the ekta, no matter where you live.
ok.  now, i am looking to get a part number for the south-african style
upper air intake trim plate and lower radiator grille.

the on-line ekta shows part nos. 255 853 652 with G, D, and K for the
upper trim plate.  G is "with mouldings, round lights", D is "without
mouldings, round lights", and K is for rectangular headlamps.  all three
reference another part number: ">>24-J-014529  251 853 601".  the images
in the ekta show  only the 1980-85 style trim plate with single round
lights.  is this part no. 251 853 601 the south-african style trim plate?

as well, the lower radiator grille has only one part no., 251 853 663.
clearly, this is the shorter, north american grille.  does anyone have a
part number for this grille, south-african style?

can anyone who has installed the south african parts confirm the part
numbers for me?  i would really, really appreciate it.  i am also
posting this to the syncro and syncroSA yahoo groups, so i apologise in
advance for the cross-posting.
