In the next few years I plan to take my Vanagon to Cabo San Lucas at the S. tip of Baja, Mexico. A second trip there for me. The first trip we with a tent and camping stove. We saw a few vanagons there and it is the perfect vehicle for Mexico camping. So many places to camp for free or only a few dollars. We tented at Cabo right on the Ocean for $15 a day. Where are you going?

Happy trails.
