Not in any particular order: -Reliability (not prone to warping, or at least not nearly as much as a drum) -Better braking - better mechanical leverage -Less prone to heat-induced fade (depending on design, of course...) -Ease of maintenence -Appearance: discs look nice, drums are ugly (assuming alloy wheels with large openings) -We choose to be different!
