I haul lumber, hay, children, mini horses, the dog, etc in my Vanagon Westy. The other day I went to Lumbermans and purchased two 4' x 8' sheets of plywood. I went out back to the yard, and pulled up in my Vanagon. The man at the booth looked at me and asked me in a sarcastic tone where I was planning to put them. I told him "inside the van", and "I have done it before". He still was unbelieving til we slid in the plywood, and shut the gate. He just stood there shaking his head. I went away giggling. : ) Last month I went for plywood in my husbands Dodge Caravan. I had to leave the hatch open just to get home. I love my van!!!!!
