Subject:      Make your subject line clear and descriptive

Most of the subject lines on this list are accurate. More than on other
lists to which I belong.

What I love about the Internet and this list and AMERICA, is real honest to
goodness free speech. We all have the right to say what we want to say.
About HTML or plain text or plain straight talk. And dry humor or plain
pisedoffedness are welcome relief. If you are offended then chill out and
get real.

It is good catharsis and deep down we all know we each mean well or we would
not be on this list.

YES, the lazy sons of bitches SHOULD make it easy for others to read and
find info. (I too am one of those lazy sons of bitches sometimes.) I belong
to other  (not vanagon related) lists and the most irritating lazy crap is
an unwillingness to make a clear subject line so that archive hunting will
be a easy for us all.  I have even had difficulty finding my own "vanagon
keepers" emails. I've had to write a second and third time seeking the same
information. (This is unnecessary, and clear subject lines would make things
so easy. AND I THOUGHT CLEAR SUBJECT LINES WAS ONE OF THE RULES OF THIS
GROUP.) We are all busy, and life is mundane enough. We do not need to wade
through crap that is avoidable and easy to fix.

Lazy people SHOULD wake up. AND those irritated by it SHOULD use any means
POSSIBLE to communicate-- gentle and harsh. Humorous and stupid. Clever and
embarrassing.

For God's sake check your subject line so that it is descriptive, and get on
this HTML thing. If you don't know what it does or is (like I did not
know)-- LEARN. And if you have learned, help those that don't know how to
learn how to. AND   RATHER THAN PISS AND MOAN POST A SOLUTION LIKE Larry
Chase did. Post it over and over like Spam until everyone gets it. But post
the solution, NOT THE PROBLEM. For God's sake wake up. POST THE SOLUTION.
some of us just do not know. We are not all experts like you are. Some of us
just learned to use the Internet and a computer.

Keep on keeping on and CHECK YOUR SUBJECT LINE BEFORE YOU SEND and if it
does not describe your content EXACTLY, change it.
