Frank and list,

I have successfully shipped bumpers from other cars that were larger and more
vulnerable than bus bumpers. I always make a shipping crate out of scrap wood
(1 x and door skins and dry wall screws) for large items like bumpers, fenders,
hoods, grills, etc.  The results are worth the effort. Parts arrive in
condition they leave in. Cost is usually less than $10 plus sweat equity.  Of
course UPS insurance is a reasonable option and has been used on more expensive
parts.
