No way, bag balm is terrible stuff. As far as udder and teat protection goes, stick with Udder Ointment. It is not as greasy and is absorbed faster, so it won't pick up dirt and crap from the yard. Also, Udder Ointment contains sun-screen. Bag Balm, because it doesn't absorb very well, needs to be thouroughly washed off before milking, versus Udder Ointment is gone by the time the next milking comes around.
