Subject:      Brake dilemna continnued.............

Update on my brake progress.

Today bought Dot 4 and poured 6 bottles of it into my pressure bleeder..............forced 3/4 quart thru each wheel and same for the clutch hydraulics.

Brakes felt a little better.

Decided to check booster vacuum, check valve.

Check valve good, blows one direction, and it is pointed in the correct direction. So, I thought, hmmm I am going to disconnect and plug right behind the check valve where the booster vac line goes through, start the car, and feel the brakes. Felt the same as always.........so, it is the vacuum line from the check valve to the booster.

So I go to ETKA and see the tubes, and something weird called a restrictor that apparently goes inside the tube near the firewall end................what does this part do, and as anyone had any luck coming up with something to run a vac line the length of the car to get their booster to work?\

My booster is new, so doubt it is the culprit, for the brakes feel the same as they did with the old booster (lucky me i saved it)
